"Anne! What… What is this?!"
Issiacca's voice rang through the house with clear annoyance as Anne grinned to herself, her petite lips curled into a smile as she quickly bounded to where her cousin sat on the couch. Her blue hair was in a mess around her face—stray strands sticking from every which where, her eyes widened with a combination of disgust and alarm as she stared into the bag of chips she once held. What she found inside the bag was not her delectable potato chips, however, but a large heap of assorted vegetables that pressed together tightly inside of the wrinkled bag. Anne could barely contain her laughter from behind her lips as she swung over to the blue haired girl, her eyes bright with delight.
"Oh, Issiacca! You knew this was going to happen sometime! I thought it would be unfair to use Conjurous to try to get you to eat healthier…" The little blonde heaved a sigh, shaking her head as she placed her hand on her shapely hips. "But you just wouldn't give them a chance! So… there you go."
A slender finger pointed to the piled-high vegetables in her potato chip bag and Issiacca could barely suppress a scream of rage, her hands tangling into her hair as her thoughts raced. This girl was supposed to be sweet and kind? She figured her intentions were of good will, but they came off far more mischievous—her breath catching in her throat as she threw the bag to the ground, causing Anne to pout a cute pout down at her cousin.
"You didn't even eat them!"
Her finger waggled at the blue haired girl and her eyebrows furrowed—her blonde locks cupping at her face in such an angelic way that it almost made Issiacca sick. She bit against her lip and she sat up on the couch, her bare feet stumbling and molding into the softness of the furniture underneath her as she pointed a finger at her in return, her eyes crazed. She was usually cool and collected until somebody fooled around with her food, and Anne had done just that.
"Of course I didn't eat them!"
"Issiacca… You're scaring me! I was just trying to do something good!"
She twitched with aggravation when she swore she could hear a mocking undertone in the blonde's voice, her pout perfect with her flushed cheeks. She looked like the adept image of an innocent girl, what with her blonde hair and big green eyes. Not to mention the shape of her face and her round cheeks tinted pink with apparent fright and rejection—apparently upset at the fact her cousin was acting so crazed.
"You know what…" Issiacca growled, taking a deep breath as she allowed her body to collapse back onto the couch. Anne looked intrigued by this as she peeked over the rim of the couch—her eyes wide with fascination as she watched the other female's movements. She seemed to be doing some sort of meditation, Anne mused, as she was taking deep breaths and rubbing furiously at her temples. Just when she thought all was forgiven (though she didn't understand why she was being so mean), Issiacca snapped her head towards her with a hard stare.
"Conjurous t-shirt and sweatpants."
Before the little blonde could even blink her eyes, her heavy pink garb disappeared and was replaced with clothes she found to be absolutely unflattering. Her poofy, colorful dress had melted from her body and she now wore a baggy white t-shirt with heavy sweatpants to match, the fabric hanging from her hips so loosely she feared they would fall from her frame. Her eyes widened with horror and she could feel tears stinging at the bottoms of her eyes and wetting her eyelashes. It took her a moment to even think of what to say to Issiacca before her voice escaped from her lips in a loud cry of girlish terror.
"That's playing dirty!" She whined, causing the other female to bark back at her with defense.
"You're the one who used Conjurous against me first! It's only fair that I return the favor!"
"But this is so mean!"
"You started it!"
The two of them sounded quite close to two children bickering about, the way their voices rose and fall with every word they spoke to each other. They were getting close to screams—Anne whimpering like a frightened child and Issiacca filled with aggression before they both started yelling out different spells at each other, throwing out things they knew would irritate the other.
"Conjurous wet, un-blow-dried hair!"
"Why you—Conjurous sparkles raining everywhere!"
"Conjurous double-bacon cheeseburger!"
Anne screeched out and threw the greasy food right at Issiacca's sparkly purple dress, her messy wet hair clinging tightly to her now completely reddened cheeks as Issiacca stood panting wildly, her eyes crazed with fierce anger as she glanced down at the cheeseburger at her feet. She didn't care to look back at her blonde haired cousin, catching her breath as her hands clenched onto the fabric of her dress.
Anne plopped to the floor and rubbed her hands madly on her baggy sweatpants, attempting to rid her fingers of the grease that came from the grotesque burger Issiacca had cursed her with. She realized a moment later the filth was now on her pants and she flinched and gave a loud whine—feeling her tears begin to resurface as she whimpered with no words.
Finally, after a moment of tense silence—Issiacca walked over to Anne, trying not to trip over the sparkly heels that came along with the blasted dress that came with the Conjurous. She bent down to look at the pouting girl with her hair that had lost its glitzy volume due to the dampness, sitting sadly in her greasy sweatpants and baggy t-shirt. She couldn't help but feel slightly bad for her, even though her anger still remained prominently.
"Conjurous 'dress' and 'sparkles raining everywhere."
She spoke quietly—parroting Anne's words as she watched with silent stubbornness as Anne returned to how she was before this whole ordeal, irritatingly covered in rainbow glitter and a frilly pink dress that fit her perfectly. Her golden tresses were once more filled with life and her tears had disappeared from her eyes as if they never existed. She looked stunned for a moment before she tilted her head up to look at her blue haired cousin.
"Issiacca…" She whispered, obviously charmed by her kind actions as she smiled brightly. "Thank you!"
"Yeah, yeah…" The other muttered; her lips tilted into a half smile as she stared at the little blonde expectantly. Anne sat up from her sat position and turned to her with the quivering of her pretty pink dress, eyes vibrant with life as she waved to her cousin with gratitude.
"Really, thank you, Issiacca! That was really nice of you!"
"—Wait, aren't you going to, you know… turn me back and restore my potato chips or whatever?"
"Oh, no! You can do that by yourself!"
With a giggle and a skip, Anne disappeared right back into the halls, leaving a stunned and un-amused Issiacca standing with her ridiculously over the top garb and glittering sparkles.
And Anne was supposed to be the sweet one…
